Step 2: Sidewise Open Facebook on the other tab and select the Facebook page or profile.
follow the below steps:

  • Go to your Facebook page and select "Live" from your usual timeline post-writing box.

Once you click on it, you will come across the live streaming page.

  1. Stay on the "Go live now" page on the right-hand side of the page or click on schedule live video content ( for streaming it later)

  2. Enter the title & description of your streaming and Click on "Use stream key" shown in the middle of the page.

  3. Turn on the Persistent stream key. To keep the same key throughout the live streaming.

Step 3: After your streaming setup is done, copy the streaming URL & streaming key and go back to your Airmeet event dashboard.

Step 4: Go back to your Airmeet event dashboard and click on “Live Stream” on the left side and click on “Add stream destination”.

Step 5: Click on “+Add New” and select “Custom RTMP”.

Step 6: Paste the mandatory RTMP details like Stream URL, Stream key, Live Stream Page URL, and Destination Nickname copied from Facebook and press "Next".

Step 8: Once the session goes live, Go back to the Facebook live stream dashboard & verify your streaming on the preview screen and click on "Go Live" which will eventually start your streaming on Facebook simultaneously.

NOTE: The maximum limit for Facebook live streaming is 8 hours/Session & It is recommended to not take a break for more than 2 mins while the session is live.

Points to keep in mind:

  • In Facebook Live, you can go live one at a time (in case of a single page), and once your first session is over then you need to regenerate the Stream key & Stream URL again and follow the above steps again.

  • Stream resolution for any session stream into Facebook is a maximum of 720p.
  • If the Facebook stream is pre-schedule:

    • Make sure you go live on the session at the same time the event is scheduled for.

    • It goes live automatically and stops the stream in case it doesn't get any feed from Airmeet

  • Recommended not to take any break for a session that is getting streamed as if the break gets extended for more than 2 mins the stream will get stopped and needs to be refreshed from the Facebook dashboard to start the stream again or create a new stream key.

  • if the session got ended by the event host, the Facebook live stream will stop, and need to regenerate the Stream key & Stream URL again and make changes in the dashboard.

Recommended to not take a break while the session is being streamed to any platform.
