How to embed an Iframe code on Airmeet custom reception?

1. Overview


Embedding the Iframe plugin has multiple benefits to keep your participants engaged and provide them with more interactions, like a social wall, gamification, and photo booth. 


A Few Popular iFrame Plugin Platforms:


  • Social media - Walls.io, Twitter
  • Photobooth - Snapbar.
  • Gamification - Kahoot, Playpager, Noonah.
  • The survey, poll, quiz - Typeform, Slido, Mentimeter:
  • Fundraiser - Pledge.to, GoFundMe.
  • Digital poster - iPosters.





2. How do I embed an iFrame plugin on custom reception?



Step 1: Go to the "Event's dashboard" and click on the "Branding" tab.


Step 2: Click on the "Reception" tab and select "Custom reception."




Step 3: Drag and drop the "Iframe plugin" object towards the canvas and other objects like background images, videos, and links.




Step 4: Enter the "iFrame URL" from your desired platform or tool.


Disclaimer: If you have a JavaScript snippet that looks something like:

You only need to use the URL after "src," as highlighted above.

 


Step 5: Place the iFrame object in the desired space on the canvas.




Step 6: Click on the "Save" button. You can also preview the reception by clicking on the "Preview reception" button or enter the event by clicking on "Enter event."




3. How do I embed an iframe popover on custom reception?



Step 1: Go to the "Event's dashboard" and click on the "Branding" tab.


Step 2: Click on the "Reception" tab and select "Custom reception."



Step 3: Select the "Links" object from the right-hand side section.




Step 4: Drag and drop the "Links" object towards the canvas and other objects like Background Images and Videos and select "Iframe Popover."

Enter the "on Hover Name" and the "iFrame URL" code.

4. Things to keep in mind


  • You can embed as many Iframe codes on Custom Reception as you want to.
  • Custom reception doesn't work on Airmeet mobile applications; hence iFrame would not be possible in that case.
  • Some websites don't allow embedding their links in iFrame. Kindly check once before embedding it.
  • Ensure the links embedded are safe to use and not too resource-heavy
  • Ensure the Iframe code is CORS (Cross-Origin Resource Sharing) to enable your global audience to interact.
