1. Overview


Embed Google Tag Manager code on the Airmeet event landing page. Connect Google Tag Manager to Airmeet for improved customer experience through conversion tracking and remarketing with Google Ads, Google Analytics, LinkedIn, Twitter, and over 90 supported vendors



Insight

  • Enable the integration in the Community Integrations dashboard
  • Visit the Airmeet Integrations page and enable Google Tag Manager
  • Add your Google Tag Manager ID





2. Enable Google Tag Manager from the community dashboard



Enable Google Tag Manager for your community by following the steps below:


Step 1:  Go to the Airmeet Community dashboard and click on the “Integrations” tab.

Step 2: Go to the “Apps” tab and look for "Google Tag Manager" 

Step 3: Click on the “Connect“ button to enable the integration at your community level.




3. Enable Google Tag Manager for a particular event.



Enable Google Tag Manager for your particular Airmeet event by following the steps below:



Step 1: Go to the Airmeet Event dashboard and click on the “Settings" tab and select the "Integrations tab.


Step 2: Look for "Google Tag Manager" integration. Click on the "Enable" button.


Step 3: Add your Google Tag Manager ID starting with "GTM-123A456", which will be added to the event landing page.




Step 4: Click on "Save" to enable your integration.




4. How to find Google Tag Manager ID?


Install Google Tag Manager to configure and deploy tags, including tags from Google Ads, Google Analytics, Floodlight, and 3rd parties. At a high level, the steps are:

Step 1: Create an account, or use an existing account at tagmanager.google.com. (A new container is created by default, and you can create additional containers within each account.)

Step 2: Install the container on your website or mobile app.
For web and AMP pages: Add the container snippet as instructed by Tag Manager, and remove any existing tags.
Add and publish your tags.

 

4.1. Create a new account and container

Step 1: In Tag Manager, click Accounts and then Create an account.

Step 2: Enter an account name and optionally indicate whether you'd like to share data anonymously with Google and others.

Step 3: Enter a descriptive container name and select the type of content: Web, AMP, Android, or iOS. If setting up a mobile container, choose whether you're using the Firebase SDK or one of the legacy SDKs.

Step 4: Click Create.

Step 5: Review the Terms of Service and click ‘Yes’ if you agree to those terms.


Note: When your new container first loads, you will be prompted with the web container installation code snippet or get started with Tag Manager as part of the SDK for your chosen mobile platform.

You can install your code snippets now or click OK to clear this dialog. Of course, you can always set up your container first and install the container snippet or SDK later.

 

4.2. Install the container

Step 1: In Tag Manager, click Workspace.

Step 2: Near the top of the window, find your container ID, formatted as "GTM-XXXXXX".




Step 3: Copy the Google Tag Manager id and paste it on the Event dashboard as shown in "Step 3 of Enable Google Tag Manager for a particular event."




5. Access the google analytics dashboard and see real-time data

Once the GTM code is embedded on the landing page by following the above steps, the GTM admin can view the real-time data on their google analytics dashboard itself.


5.1. Access Real-time data on the GTM dashboard


Dashboards let you monitor many metrics at once, so you can quickly check the health of your accounts or see correlations between different reports. Dashboards are easy to create, customize and share.




5.2. View real-time engagement activities


As a GTM admin, you can view different engagement activities from the dashboard. Kindly find below the steps


Steps: Go to your Google Tag Manager dashboard > Select your Event integration > Click on the Engagement tab from the left-hand side > Click on Events > View engagement data




6. Points to keep in mind


  • The Google Tag Manager code snippet and your GTM id will be embedded on the Event Landing Page.

  1. How to find Google Tag Manager id?
    In Tag Manager, click Workspace.

    As a GTM admin, you can view different engagement activities from the dashboard. Kindly find below the steps
