1. Overview


Easily sync Microsoft Dynamics 365 event registrations with your Airmeet event. Contacts registered with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 event will be added to the Airmeet. New registrations received on Airmeet will be added to the Microsoft Dynamics 365 event.



2. Connect Microsoft Dynamics 365 at the community level


Step 1: Go to the Airmeet Community dashboard and click on the "Integration" tab from the left-hand side.

Step 2: Under the "Apps" section, search for "Microsoft Dynamics 365.".



Step 3: Click the "Connect" button and enter the "Microsoft Dynamics 365 Organization URL" to authenticate the API.



Step 4: You can find the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Organization URL by logging in to the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Organization URL and copying the URL from the top, as shown below.



Step 5: Click on the Connect button to link your Microsoft Dynamics 365 organization to the Airmeet community for once.




3. Connect Microsoft Dynamics 365 at the event level


Once Microsoft Dynamics 365 is connected at the community level, you can map the integration for a particular event at the event level and enable the registrations to sync from Airmeet to Microsoft Dynamics 365 or vice versa.


3.1. Sync Airmeet to Microsoft Dynamics 365


You can sync your Airmeet event registration data to a Microsoft Dynamics 365 event. As soon as participants register for your event, the details will be shown on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 event page.


Step 1: Go to Microsoft Dynamics 365 and select the marketing application.



Step 2: After clicking on the marketing application, change the area to "Event Planning."




Step 3: Click on the Events tab from the right-hand side. Multiple Microsoft Dynamics 365 events are created by default. You can create your event by clicking on the +New button from the top.



Airmeet registration data will be synced to the above events created under Microsoft Dynamics 365, and the admin of Microsoft Dynamics 365 can view the data once the sync is established.



Step 4: Go back to the community dashboard and select a particular event for which the data needs to be synced.





Step 5: Under the "Events dashboard," go to the "Integrations" tab from the left-hand side.


Step 6: Look for Microsoft Dynamics 365 and click on enable.



Step 7: Select your Microsoft Dynamics 365 Event Name from the dropdown (shown until step 3 above) and enable the direct access link (participant's unique joining link).





Step 8: Click on the "Export from Airmeet" tab and map the Airmeet registration fields with Microsoft Dynamics 365 contact properties for adding/updating contacts in your Microsoft Dynamics 365 event.



Step 9: Once the participants register for an Airmeet event, you can view the registration data on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 event.



3.1.1. How to view registration data from Airmeet on a Microsoft Dynamics 365 event.


As a Microsoft Dynamics 365 admin, you can view the registration data under a specific event as selected above (shown in step 7). Let's check out how you can view the contact data.


Step 1: Click on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 event where data is supposed to be synced.

Step 2: Click on the "Registration & Attendance" tab from the top. Under "Event registration," you can view all the participant's data sent from an Airmeet event.




Click on a desired contact to view the complete details filled in by the participants while registering on Airmeet.


Note: The data from Airmeet to Microsoft Dynamics 365 is synced in real-time.



3.2. Sync Microsoft Dynamics 365 to Airmeet


Add a contact on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and send an Airmeet event invite by syncing Microsoft Dynamics 365  with an Airmeet event.



Step 1: Go to the community dashboard and select a particular event for which the data needs to be synced.




Step 2: Under the "Events dashboard," go to the "Integrations" tab from the left-hand side.


Step 3: Look for Microsoft Dynamics 365 and click on enable.



Step 4: Select your Microsoft Dynamics 365 event name from the dropdown.




Step 4: Click on the "Import from Microsoft Dynamics 365" tab and map the Airmeet registration fields with Microsoft Dynamics 365 contact properties here for pre-filling the registration form on Airmeet.



Step 5: Click on Save to complete the integration process.




3.2.1. How to add registration data to a Microsoft Dynamics 365 event.


To add an event registration to Microsoft Dynamics 365, kindly follow the below steps:


Step 1: Click on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 event where registration data needs to be added.


Step 2: Click on the "Registration & Attendance" tab from the top. Under the "Event Registration" tab, click on "+New Event Registration."




Note: The data from Microsoft Dynamics 365 to AirMeet is synced every 15 minutes and not in real-time.
